Today on OandA...
On my way to school today I was listening to the Opie and Anthony Show, for once, and they were talking about something that I suppose I can relate to. First, the links:
Steak knife causes 10 year old to be arrested.
http://www.wftv.com/news/14858405/detail.html
Kindergardener expelled from school for bomb threat
http://www.ocala.com/article/20071205/BREAKING_NEWS/71205002/1001/NEWS01
I'm just wondering how far this country will go before we have a complete meltdown. Seriously, a kindergardener suspended, and a little girl arrested? I remember back in elementary school I brought a pair of cap guns to school, and a teacher saw them and told me they weren't allowed and to put them away, which I did. I'd imagine if that happened nowadays I would've been pulled out of school, my parents subjected to scrutiny and a whole mess of bullshit.
Then again, since my mom's a high school teacher, I can see the other side of it. She used to work in a not so nice neighborhood and told us stories of pulling knifes off of students all the time. There's clearly a fine line between common sense and what should be taken seriously. I honestly think most of the blame has to do with the parents. Whether it's because of the "I need it now" attitude or the addiction to bribing their kids, parents need to grow some common sense before their kids screw up the rest of the world.
I had like, this whole rant set up, but I'm watching Harry Potter and getting side-tracked.

Ripoff Computer
If you thought iMacs were bad, check out this awesome idea from Dell, world's largest maker of shitty PC's.
Mobile Warcraft SupremacyWouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just buy a $900 computer like I did (which runs WoW perfectly fine) and make a skin for it? Hmm.
The XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition is the ultimate notebook for serious Warcraft players.
With exclusives like next-gen NVIDIA SLI technology and the custom Warcraft case design, this
M1730 has the power to play and the style to impress.

More About Me?
So there's no real way to get to know someone through the internet, people act different and change depending on their environment, but I'll try to give you an idea of who I am.
I started becoming serious with art towards the beginning of high school. Math wasn't my thing, science wasn't my thing, but creating something out of nothing was, definitely, my thing. I took as many liberal arts and traditional art classes as I could, except for photography, I never made it into that class. It was then college time and I found the perfect place, Montserrat.
Perfect for me at least. I'm a very laid back, easy-going procrastinator and Montserrat is kind of like that. We're on first name basis with teachers and have an open-ended form of learning. The first two years here were pretty much piddled away. This year has been a sort of turning point where I realize it's almost time for real jobs and real portfolios. Therefore I have many projects floating around that I'd love to start.
Along with design and me goes a deep passion for cars. I used to be the web administrator for Fusion Car Club, but have since branched off and created my own, NETC Car Club. I started from scratch and am now proud to call the members my friends, and have built a solid foundation of crew to rely on. My car is my baby and I've worked my ass off to get it to where it is today. I went from not knowing very much about cars to knowing the inside and out of my own car and completing an engine swap.
Another project I am working to get off the ground is an automotive magazine called New England Modified. I'm hoping to design and publish this within a few years.
So that's a little about me, I could definitely write more but a business plan for the magazine is much more important.
